As I get more and more into the blogging community, I often come across blogs that have a special challenge or feature, and I have thought to myself that I would like to do something like that. But to blog EVERY day for an ENTIRE year, or even once a week with a special theme ... I'm not that together. I have a hard enough time coming up with random stuff to blog about, let alone have some sort of regularity.
Well, all of that is over ... for at least the month of April! I have decided to participate in the "Blogging from A to Z April Challenge!" I will be posting blogs for 26 days in April (April 1 and then every day but Sundays). Each post can be about anything, but it must have a theme representing the letter of the day. This will be a great way for me to get my feet wet, see if I'm dedicated enough, and possibly expand to something bigger! You never know what may come!
And believe it or not, I ... Miss Procrastinator ... have already started jotting down lists of words for each letter, trying to come up with some inspiration. I have an idea, but I'm not going to announce it until the day before ... after all, I do have a habit of changing my mind! :-)
So, mark April 1 on your calendars to come and see my first challenge post!

Back in August I get a phone call from my son. "Mom, are you sitting down?" Now what mother won't freak out with a beginning like that!? And to top it off I knew exactly what he was going to say. They had just taken the home test and he called me instantly. I was in shock ... I mean, I had Ty when I was 19, and I spent most of his life telling him that he doesn't want to do what I did. My son is amazing, and has always been the best thing in my life, but it was very hard accomplishing all that I did having him so young. I wanted him to have a better life, be secure, before he started a family. Oh well ... looks like I'm gonna be a grandma sooner than I thought!
Well, Ty convinced me that he and Lizz are really happy about this ... and the shock eventually wore off. In December they found out they are having a girl! Now I'm excited!! I'll be in NC in a couple weeks and get to go to the 3D ultrasound! I'm really excited!!!
I haven't been shopping yet ... I want to wait to see what they need when the baby gets here. They are due the end of April. I can't wait!!!!

Scentsy's Warmer of the Month for January is Valentine. I was going to pass on this warmer, but then I saw it and the bow and heart charm sucked me in. It is really cute in person ... perfect for that something different for Valentine's Day!
And this post was going to be solely for Valentine, but I just got news of something even better! New in February, Scentsy is adding warmers to their Campus Collection. Okay my NC peeps ... are you ready? You have seen the UNC warmer. You have seen the Duke Warmer. We never thought it would happen. That's right ...
NC State is finally here!!!!! Perfect for that something different for Valentine's Day! (lol) I know there are a ton of Wolfpack fans out there that just have to have this to add to their collection. Orders can be made here on February 1st.

2011 will always be remembered as a wonderful year, solely because I married a wonderful man! But no matter how great the year was, we all want the next year to be better. I don't normally make resolutions ... I am not great at following through with stuff like that. This year, though, I have made a list of some general stuff I'd like to see me try to accomplish. One of the items on my list is this blog.
I'm not an aspiring writer. I'm not a super organizer. I don't have any crafting tidbits that I want to share. I started this blog thinking it would be fun ... and I haven't been disappointed. It's all about me and whatever I feel like telling the world. And while I may not have a particular theme, I do want to gradually build up this blog and make it something more. That being said, my blog goal for this year is to post at least 4 times a month. (Baby-steps!) I am also considering a 'blog challenge' which would consist of writing once a day for 26 days! I'm not quite sure I'm up to that yet, but we'll see.
So, I hope everyone has a great year. Here's to accomplishing all of your new year's goals!
